Overview

The Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Communication & Marketing is a dual-competency qualification. The course trains future managers in events management, press relations, optimising a brand’s online visibility, developing an appropriate multi-channel distribution strategy and building a brand identity.

Description

International placements are available in the third year of the Bachelor’s programme. Under this option, students can attend LIM College in New York or UOWD in Dubai for one semester, or one of our European partner universities for one semester as part of the Erasmus+ programme. Students will then receive a scholarship. An optional seminar abroad is also available each year.

The Bachelor’s in Fashion Communications & Marketing programme includes a number of work placement phases, ranging from one week during Fashion Week to 6 consecutive months in the third year. Depending on the year and the student’s experience, they will be given several assignments related to their studies and career objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree 1st year: Two one-week internships (Fashion Week) and one 2-month work placement from April to June.
  • Bachelor’s 2nd year: A one-week work placement (Fashion Week) and a 4-month work placement from March to June
  • Bachelor’s 3rd year: A 6-month work placement from January to June

Objectives

  • Understand how to conceptualise an idea, present it and develop it in visual terms, whilst keeping within time, budget and media constraints
  • Develop a marketing communications plan that includes expertise in digital marketing tools, online and offline distribution and an events strategy
  • Build a community and brand awareness
  • Develop and implement a marketing and sales strategy
  • Create and implement marketing and sales initiatives
  • Manage projects and determine marketing and sales activities
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction with a view to boosting the company’s economic development
  • Coordinate Human Resources, Finance and Logistics to develop business plans
  • Monitor and report on results

Process

Prerequisite
  • First-year Bachelor’s degree: Post-bac admission or equivalent (diploma or level 4 qualification)
  • Second-year Bachelor’s degree: Admission after validating the first year (60 ECTS) and a Fashion Foundation course
  • Third-year Bachelor’s degree: Admission after a validating two year (120 ECTS) and a Fashion Foundation course

Rythm

Classes are taught over 4 days a week

The 3rd year of the course can be taken as a sandwich course with distance learning only.

Cost
  • Administrative fees: €350
  • Plan A (one-off payment): €8,990
  • Plan B (payment in three instalments):  Initial instalment of €3,000 then two subsequent instalments
  • Plan C (payment in six instalments): Initial instalment of €3,000 then five subsequent instalments
  • Distance learning: €7,990 (plan A only)

  • A minimum of 10/20 must be obtained for each of these criteria and for each course unit.
  • No partial validation of skill modules

To obtain certification, candidates must pass the four skill modules, as well as a transversal test that covers all modules: a professional portfolio and oral presentation.

  • 180 ECTS
  • “Marketing and Sales Development Officer” registered with the RNCP by CDE FEDE FRANCE, Level 6, NSF 312 (Decision date: 25-04-2022). RNCP file no. 36374
  • The qualification provides access to the Master’s degree in Fashion Art & Event Director.
