The Magazine project
This year’s theme was “Paris, capitale de la mode et de l’amour“, and the event brought together students, the magazine production team (photographers, models, make-up artists, hairdressers, sponsors, etc.) and industry experts. Mégane Simon, Director of EIDM Paris, began by outlining the various stages of the launch event. Guests were free to review the student magazines on the upper floor of La Péniche. This was followed by a private concert by the singer Musa and a second DJ set, while the jury deliberated. Then, at 10 pm, the long-awaited results of the jury were announced and the students were congratulated on the quality of their work.
The jury’s favourites were Gasma magazine by Erick Massidy and Plastic Fag magazine by Alex Ferauge, Inès Alimi and Marie-Anissa Blacknierek. Students Mélanie Sfez and Laurie Marques also received awards for organising the evening. The event included a photocall, a print bar and a cocktail reception. Once again, we would like to congratulate all our students on the tremendous commitment they have shown and the quality of the magazines they have produced.
Learning by Doing
Each year, EIDM students organise a practical project. This may be organising a runway show, creating a magazine, opening a pop-up store, managing an entrepreneurial project, or managing a team. A rewarding vocational experience that focuses on developing creativity, imagination and investment. To be at the top of your game!
