The 3-year Bachelor’s degree in Luxury Management provides students with an understanding of the challenges facing the Luxury industry today and a 360° view of this constantly expanding sector.
Description
After an introduction to the different luxury sectors, the latest trends and the key players, they can then develop real expertise in the various fields of luxury, where excellence is paramount. From Jewellery and Timepieces to Haute Couture and Leather Goods, these prestigious sectors are all covered in depth. The course teaches you about quality requirements, the essential elements of branding and the pivotal role that outstanding customer service has to play.
Under this option, students can attend LIM College in New York or UOWD in Dubai for one semester, or one of our European partner universities for one semester as part of the Erasmus+ programme. Students will then receive a scholarship. An optional seminar abroad is also available each year.
The Bachelor’s in Luxury Management programme includes a number of work placement phases, ranging from one week during Fashion Week to 6 consecutive months in the third year. Depending on the year and the student’s experience, they will be given several assignments related to their studies and career objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree 1st year: Two one-week internships (Fashion Week) and one 2-month work placement from April to June.
- Bachelor’s 2nd year: A one-week work placement (Fashion Week) and a 4-month work placement from March to June
- Bachelor’s 3rd year: A 6-month work placement from January to June

Process
- First-year Bachelor’s degree: Post-bac admission or equivalent (diploma or level 4 qualification)
- Second-year Bachelor’s degree: Admission after validating the first year (60 ECTS) and a Fashion Foundation course
- Third-year Bachelor’s degree: Admission after a validating two year (120 ECTS) and a Fashion Foundation course

The program runs over three academic years.
Classes are taught over 4 days a week
The 3rd year of the course can be taken as a sandwich course with distance learning only.

- No partial validation of skill modules
To obtain certification, candidates must pass the four skill modules, as well as a transversal test that covers all modules: a professional portfolio and oral presentation.

A Junior Brand Manager assists with defining, creating and marketing a brand.
A Sponsorship Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective public relations with all of a brand’s stakeholders, including sponsors and patrons.
A Junior Advertising Manager helps to develop and coordinate advertising campaigns.
A Junior Store Manager is tasked with managing the sales and administration of a small or medium-sized sales outlet and developing its commercial profitability.
Within the Luxury sector, a Product Manager or Junior Product Manager specialises in the life cycle of a luxury product or range of products from concept to sales.
A Visual Merchandiser designs and produces the decor and layout of shop windows, sales areas and displays.
Each year, EIDM students organise a major professional project: organising a fashion show, creating a magazine, opening a pop-up store, creating a brand, directing an event, etc. It’s a high-level professional experience that puts the emphasis on creativity, imagination and investment.
