Do you dream of managing a collection or developing a brand image through a carefully considered communications strategy? Then join this dual-competency program.


Description

Based on in-depth knowledge of the Fashion industry, this programme enables students to master the process of designing and managing projects. The Fashion Art & Event Director programme focuses on creativity and the economic challenges facing a company.

Several work placements are included in the Fashion Art & Event Director programme throughout the years of study. Depending on the year and the student’s experience, they will be given several assignments related to their studies and career objectives. Six months of work experience are planned each year.

  • Conceptualising and presenting a product
  • Managing relationships with collaborators and service providers
  • Overseeing the technical execution of a project
  • Gaining interest in the product and selling techniques
  • Monitoring events markets from a strategic perspective
  • Analysing the ecosystem of an events project
  • Draw up a financing plan for an events project
  • Devising the sales and marketing strategy for an event
  • Designing the visual and digital communications for an event
  • Setting up a multi-disciplinary events team
  • Managing the administrative duties relating to the event
  • Determining the qualitative approach to an event
  • Setting up a prevention and security plan for an event
  • Developing an event’s social and environmental responsibility strategy

Prerequisite

Course open to students with Bac+3, level 6 (Bachelor’s, degree).

  • No partial validation of skill modules

To obtain certification, applicants must validate all the common skill modules required to be able to work in the profession, and must also submit a dissertation.

Each year, EIDM students organise a major professional project: organising a fashion show, creating a magazine, opening a pop-up store, creating a brand, directing an event, etc. It’s a high-level professional experience that puts the emphasis on creativity, imagination and investment.
