Our 2nd-year Bachelor's degree students' project
As part of their annual projects, and following the 1st-year fashion show, students in the 2nd year of the Bachelor’s programme are tasked with producing a fashion magazine in its entirety, from defining the editorial line and artistic direction to writing the articles and designing the layout and images to include. On 30 May 2024, the evening event was devoted to presenting all our students’ magazines to our partners and the press, and above all to selecting the two best magazines. A total of 20 magazines were in the running: Backstage, Endorphine, Freaky, Universe, N°Carbone, Persona, 12:17, Clout 9, Golden Narcissist, Kinisi, Summum, Crossover, Podiums, Cheers, 97, Era, Athleisure, Runway, Urban Tales, and Craft Club.
The Magazine 2024 evening programme
While the magazines were produced by our 2nd year Bachelor’s degree students, the launch party was organised entirely by students in the first year of the programme. Their tasks include finding a venue, choosing service providers, managing the artistic direction, designing the invitations and managing the guest list, as well as working with influencers.
On 30 June at 7 pm, guests were greeted in the prestigious Salle le Marquis. Highlights included a presentation of the 21 magazines created by our students, reviews and critiques by our exceptional panel of judges, discussions with the various editorial teams and an award ceremony for the jury’s two favourite magazines. The magazines in the running included: Backstage, Endorphine, Freaky, Universe, N°Carbone, Persona, 12:17, Clout 9, Golden Narcissist, Kinisi, Summum, Crossover, Podiums, Cheers, 97, Era, Athleisure, Runway, Urban Tales, and Craft Club. The evening included a cocktail atelier, with prizes to be won, and a DJ set.
Congratulations to our students on a delayed start to the academic year and to their sponsors for organising the evening. A special mention to our 2nd year Bachelor’s degree students for their superb magazines, which received top marks from the jury. And a special thank you to our exceptional jury for the time and energy they invested in our event.
