The 1st-year Bachelor's degree students - runway show

The students at EIDM are using their collections on the theme of ‘Paris, capital of fashion and love’ to capture Paris’ diverse neighbourhoods and eras. This show reflects their vision of Paris: a liberated, festive Paris where self-love and love for others prevail, a Paris that symbolises women’s independence, an artistic Paris that inspires, and finally a futuristic Paris that conveys the desire for sustainable fashion in tune with humanity.

The collections presented.

Discover the looks created by the Art Direction & Styling section, inspired by “Opera”, “Pigalle”, “Paris Futur”, “Place Vendôme”, “Paris Romantique” and “the Louvre”.

To begin, the Paris Avant-Garde collection unveils several works depicting a typical day on the streets of Paris.

Then, the Louvre collection brings the iconic works of art from the famous museum to life.

The Pigalle collection aims to highlight Paris’ vibrant nightlife. Sensuality is the guiding principle of this collection, naturally retaining a chic, luxurious feel.

Next, the Paris Romantique collection tells a universal romantic tale, conveying a range of emotions including love, joy, melancholy and innocence.

The Place Vendôme collection portrays a sophisticated, elegant and chic woman who exudes the aura of a femme fatale.

The Paris Futur collection transports us to the year 3000, where we can hopefully find an enhanced form of fashion.

Finally, the Millénaire III collection focuses on a fairly distant future. A non-dystopian future in which humankind has changed the uses of all everyday objects.

Learning by Doing

Each year, EIDM students organise a practical project. This may be organising a runway show, creating a magazine, opening a pop-up store, managing an entrepreneurial project, or managing a team. A rewarding vocational experience that focuses on developing creativity, imagination and investment. To be at the top of your game!
